COMMON QUESTIONS

Q: How much does it cost?

A: Services can be billed to your insurance provider and can be free if you have Medicaid or other insurance that covers "Adult Day Care." No insurance? Our self-pay rate is $20 an hour.

 

Q: Do you provide transportation?

Y: Yes! If you attend our center a minimum of 3 days a week, 8 hours a day we will provide FREE transportation to and from our facility

 

Q: Do you provide meals?

A: Yes! We provide 2 home-cooked, healthy meals and 1 snack.

 

Q: What kind of activities do you do?

A: We have 5 planned activities a day that are fun, engaging and purpose-driven.  

 

Q: Do you offer field trips?

A:  Yes! We go on field trips around Kansas City on the first Friday of each month.

 

Q: Do you serve people with Alzheimer's and Dementia? 

A: Yes! We have a special place in our hearts for them. Our founder's grandmother, Margaret, suffered from both Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease.

the STORii Family Portal

What is the purpose of the "Family Portal"?

The StoriiCare Family Portal gives you access to your relative’s StoriiCare profile. Wherever you are around the world, you can view and upload life story content including images, videos, audio recordings and music playlists to your relative’s profile. This content can then be used by staff to better know your relative and also for use in reminiscence sessions. If your relative’s care provider uses StoriiCare to record activities, you can also use StoriiCare to view the activities your relative participates in.

I haven't been provided with any login details!

If you are yet to receive any login details or a signup request, please get in touch with your relative’s care provider to request an invite. You will need to provide them with either your email address or your mobile phone number (smartphone recommended).
